Thanks Maxwell4321....But is there a step by step guide to follow ?
I thought I read somewhere about updating something as soon as It's flashed.
You need to do a software update after the image is installed to download all the latest updates and bug fiZes - long blue button and than software update.
If you have an image installed - do a backup of the settings not image and you will be able to reinstall once youhave done a flash.

How do I do a backup of the settings as Stanman.....Said in his earlier post, does this mean I don't have to scan all the Satellites ?

Within the vix menu u can use the image manager to create a backup.
So that's no good to me having the VTI 1.3 installed.
Thanks.

Are you using a motorized of fixed dish as you can download the latest Enigma 2 Settings/picons/cams via plugins in vix 1.3
the VTI 1.3 is a 6 months old image probably worth doing a clean install just back up you config file first
