View Full Version : [OS-mini] Plugins Down
Since updating to 4.1.009 I have been unable to reactivate all my plugins.
When pressing green to download I get "There has been an error, please try again later" is this an issue with a server or the latest build?
If you need logs, please let me know which ones you need.
Thanks,

After a few, red button to close, highlight the image n blue button to restore. This will now fresh flash your receiver. After a few minutes you will get the FIW screen. Select HDMI, 1080p, Multi, English then yes to restore your settings n plugins. After the restart try software update n plugins again please.

Ok, so after flashing and restoring plugins I am able to view the plugin repository. But as soon as I check software updates or exit and re-enter, I am shown the error and then the plugin download stops working. Restarting the box do not fix the error. Only reflashing and not checking for software updates or not exiting the plugin menu enables me to download plugins. I have flashed 3 times and am able to reproduce this.

Separate to the issue you are having.......
Not a good idea to have EPG saving to internal flash memory. You have an HDD, use that as the EPG location.
Can you issue the following command and post back the results please. See link in signature if you need it for commands.

OK. Receiver is connecting to the server fine.
Can you enable debug log, restart. Check for updates, and try to download/install a plugin. Attach the debug log to the post please.
EDIT. Added go to plugins section too.
I'm at work just now (have remote access to pc) but hopefully someone else with the problem can. If not I'll do it later.

Also, when the error occurs, please run the following command and attach the output here
opkg update
opkg list-upgradable
I've no idea what has happened but I am unable to replicate today. Has something been changed on the backend to fix this?
Hi,
Got home enabled debug and then tried update and plugins. Both worked with no issues.
I can only assume there was some trouble reaching the openvix servers last night. I was changing my HDD from a non powered to a powered one at around 7pm BST. I had some trouble getting it initialized so it might have been around 7:30 when I noticed the problem. My picons were replaced by generic openvix ones so I went to plugins. I couldn't see all the picons so went to feeds and enabled picons.xyz. Then I started to get the error when selecting download plugins or check for updates.
This continued well past 9pm.
I know my internet was ok as my boys were playing online. I did a network test on my GI LX2 and there were no issues watching any channels
Anyway working now.
