I had my Duo and Solo hdds mounted, went to watch something last night and I couldn't find the solo 2 hdd, tried to go through the set-up again the box keeps freezing on the browse network and wont close meaning the box to be switched off at the back. When I go into my solo 2 I can see the Duo 2 hdd but wont let me open it to view.

Both boxes are running the latest vix.

Thanks

Hi,
did you install/activate samba and or nfs on both machines? When installing samba you are ask if you want to install client as well and this must be done on the box that wants to mount it. How did you want to mount it fstab or autonetwork?

I have NFS enabled on both machines, it used to work perfect but I haven't used it in a while so wasn't sure if its something to do with the latest update.

Thanks

Should I be using Samba instead of NFS ?

Edit What is Samba?

Try uninstalling nfs on both boxes then re installing on both boxes, your mounts should re appear.

I take It I uninstall it via deleting plugins.

I've removed nfs via the red button and set it up again but still getting the same issue and the box just freezes on this screen.48407

Can you try with samba. You install via same way in plugins.

Right I've run samba on both boxes and can access the duo from the solo, but when I try to mount the duo to the solo it just freezes on the network screen.
