kodi sound issues

hi I'm running 4.1.009 vix image and have installed kodi 16.1 from the plugin feeds on which I have installed the beast build which seems to be working fine except I'm getting no sound when playing any of the links ...can anyone help?

Hi sparky, did you get your sound issue on kodi fixed,I am having the same problem? I've tried switching AAC Downmix on but still nothing! I've also noticed that I can't hear the selection 'clicking' noise when navigating around kodi, which suggests its not the streams but an issue between my VU+ Solo2 and the plugin! Any feedback would be much appreciated. Cheers TC

have you tried to activated the other downmix options? AAC only is mostly for people which have a sound system attached.

Hi, yeah I've tried them all. I currently have my solo2 connected via a Pioneer VSX AV Reciever! I previously had an android box with kodi connected through my receiver with no issues so kinda running out of ideas now! Thanks for your suggestion though :)

Update! Bypassed AV Reciever and now get sound through tv!! So guess it's my reciever for some reason not processing the audio signal :(
