does anyone know if this year (2016) there will be any new receivers that the sponsor will be selling. ready for a new box.

Hi,
Gigablue anounced a UHD box for August. Seems a bit different from the VU. I read it still has mips, is a bit faster (but only half the speed they promised last year on Anga), supports VP9 and has HDMI in.

I had a quick look at Broadcom and their new h.265 chips appear to be ARM, so will be interesting to see which chips are in use in the new receivers :)

yes it is also ARM. I was confused again by the DMIPS. It will be/should be the BCM7252S.

The Mut@nt 4K receiver is rumoured to be a twin receiver only.

it supports VP9 so it should be the same chip GigaBlue intends to use.
