Hi I can get a used one of these boxes nicley discounted is it worth it . I use the box for FTA channels and I use the Ruya Iptv app for the rest but im unsure and has anyone used the kodi app on this box ?

If that is all you want to use the box for then buy a cheaper VU+ box instead.

If you are asking whether anyone has used kodi, the i can confirm that I have kodi 16.1 running on the box with openatv 5.3.
