As above - how can I figure out what is causing it?

Only thing I have changed as far as I am aware is I installed Vhannibal motorised settings.

Spinner appears even whilst watching FTA channels.

Happens a lot on my solo4k as you say just whilst watching fta with nothing else running, it is the background timer check, it got so annoying that I actually turned the spinner off in the settings.
P.s. I use bello skin.

I use Bello skin also. Funny you should say that, because I was sat there whilst missus was watching a recording and it dawned on me that I had turned on background timer check a few days ago. I can just switch that off - I never used to have it on anyway.

The other thing I just noticed is how useless the screen on the Solo 4K is when playing back a recording. The font is minute, and the bar is so thin.

I dunno if that is a skin issue? I may have a look into lcd4linux, but when I last tried it, I couldn't get it to fit the display properly.

I forget which option was the background timer check. Is it the first option in Autotimer settings? (Poll Automatically)
