Hi,

I'm having a really strange issue. My LNB died on my circular dish (i.e. non-sky) and I replaced it with one of these

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001O98T6S/ref=pe_385721_129984661_TE_dp_1

Since then, I have discovered that when doing a scan I only get the Horizontal channels

I moved the box to another room (fed by another LNB feed) where I get the Vertical channels only.

Any ideas whats going on???

You bought the wrong lnb. You should have bought a quad not a quattro.

Ah!

Will any quad lnb work? Even one advertised as for a sky dish?

.... and I am sure it is :)
Its just that I have seen how badly Inverto perform in weak signal areas compared to often much cheaper Lnb,s ... so I am being extremely critical of their online claims when there has to be something wrong with either the chips used or their technical competence to have such a signal drop off ... in high signal areas I am sure they are fine
