Hi.
When I bring the box out of Standby there is no channel selected, just " ---- " on the front display, and a "no signal" message on the TV. If I up, or down shift channel on the remote it comes up, but not on a channel anywhere near the pre-set Startup Channel.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

Your 'pre-set Startup Channel' no longer exists on that frequency?
How are you shutting down your box?

I've simply been pressing Standby on remote. I've tried changing the startup channel with the same result. I've just re-scanned all the channels after the box has been idle for 12 months and this problem has arisen. But I can see your logic, I'll try again, and maybe I can revert to no startup channel and see if that makes a difference. Will report back.
