There is a menu section
Menu > Setup > System > Front Display Panel> Settings - for the config of the front panel (which the SoloSE v2 doesn't have)
The two settings that may be of relevance to the VU+ Solo SE V2 (Brightness) do not work
The is no other way to control the brightness of the LED to indicate status (on, standby etc.). I can do this on my zero so assumed I could on the SE V2.
