Lenovo have a very good reputation for reliability and came high up in the which magazine ratings.
Thanks Ashley appreciated
On saying that the ideapad 100 was bottom of the list of 27 lenovo laptops on test and was rated not one to buy. sorry about that

Ok got the new laptop running Windows 10 , can I transfer some files from my pc to the laptop using say a usb or is there a simpler way. Bearing in mind I ain't commie bright
do NOT buy an ideapad.
Never buy consumer laptops, they are never reliable enough do not have enough warranty on them. Lenovo are a very good brand. I have an x250 thinkpad. Very good laptop.
Business laptops are far superior

yh i was finding windows 10 a bit of a pain but then you get used to it.
Just a quick question, when i bought my old computer from Comet many years ago it came with Office 2007 pre-installed and when i spoke with Microsoft online they said that they do not sell the license for windows office 2007 anymore and they told me to try and get the license from where i bought the computer has Comet has closed down i can't do this . They then said i could purchase office 365 for 7.95 pounds per month which i find expensive. Can i still buy Office 2007 online because Microsoft said you can still purchase them this way. Has anyone done it this way and the best and trusted place to purchase it from.
Thanks

Would have thought there would be a compatible issue with Office 2007 & Win 10?

Could give Open Office a try, its a free-share and can open excel n word files previously used with Microsoft.
