Read the 4.1 release notes before installing what the plugin wants when you start it.
Known Plugin/Receiver issues
IPTV player uses a different OpenSSL to one in OE-A images.
If it has been removed then then it will be with good reason.

where can I download iptv player from?

iptv player was good on past versions of openvix, the developer needs to upgrade it now to work on the latest version of vix.
therefor theres no point on it being in the latest feeds. (until the plugin gets updated)
Tryed that but with flashfxp it wont transfer

As of a few days ago the plugin was updated to support OpenSSL 1.0.2 and now works fine on latest vix images.
Do you have a link for the download

Hi All
I like IPTV Player, but there is lots of sources in it I dont use
is there any way I can get into UNO system folders and remove
the ones I dont use, if somebody can supply me the path to
folders or directories ??
Thanks in Advance
There's an option In settings to go through them and tick what want to show without having to FTP in. I can't mind the name of it off the top of my head and traveling just now but check again and if any probs PM me

You will never have the latest version as he updates it very frequently. You are better off downloaidng installing it from his gitlab repository directly. He does not use Github.
Here are commands for you to install it. Thanks to pepinoogorino on the PLI forum
opkg update && opkg install python-html python-textutils
rm -rf /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/IPTVPlayer
wget -O - http://iptvplayer.vline.pl/download/update/latest.pythonX.X.tar.gz | tar xzf - -C /tmp
cp -r /tmp/iptvplayer-for-e2.git/IPTVPlayer /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions
rm -r /tmp/iptvplayer-for-e2.git
sync
killall -9 enigma2
A suggestion was made to have an installer script on the plugins menu, it got rejected. Too complicated apparently.

We are supposed to have a recent version on our feeds, but for reasons unknown this is not the case.

You paste those commands one by one in Putty or any other similar method.
There is an update feature in the plugin.
could you pleaseeeeee send it to me...THANKS
I really can't understand why you simple not use UPDATE functionality inside the plugin?
You only need to choose UPDATE and this is all you need to have last version.
Can IPTV be installed on Mut@any HD1500?
Memory issues when installing from temp folder, assuming not! If I add USB hard drive will it instal on same?
Thanks for any help.
Swap partition?
Set up same when formatting harddrive, i.e. extra partition and then put a command in mut@ant system to use it for kodi?
i.e. one partition for all of the openvix & one for kodi?
I take it best format for usb drive is Fat32

Wow, by old dm800 accepted all these commands on openpli3.0 and it works a treat. Thanks Abu. Now I have the latest version of IPTV player installed. Never thought it was possible on such an old box. suddenly my system is useful again

Not only did my old dm800 manage this, my old vuduo managed this, my zgemma i55 iptv player managed this. It would suggest that any E2 box can be updated with suggested commands

Lets not mention the Zgemma on this forum. Refresh yourself and reread the forum rules.
