Sat ID using a Golden Media Meter

Hi

Just got a Golden Media Sat Meter and wondered if there's a way to find out which satellite the dish is pointing at via some ID number (Other than using a compass)?
I've had problems in the pass finding the correct satellite :confused:

plus anyone got any experience on using this unit on setting up dishes (RF level/FEC/CN/BER..etc), any tips ?
