View Full Version : [VU+ Solo4K] Couch-flashing the Solo4K with 4.1.001

Afternoon all.

I attempted to couch-flash my Solo 4K with 4.1.001. I downloaded the image from the Image Manager page and attempted to restore it... but it threw the error message "This box is not supported yet" :(

So instead I downloaded the image from openvix.co.uk and copied it to a USB drive. I half expected this to throw the same error; but no, this one flashed cleanly, and is up-and-running all ticketty-boo. Ra! :)

Is the couch-flash option set up incorrectly for the Solo 4K perchance?

Image manager does not work with solo4k, you can not do a full image back up and you can not couch flash an image, all image flashing has to be done via USB and a reboot, remember to press the power button.

Ps other images allow you to create a back up image but you still need to use USB to flash.

You can make an image backup on the Solo 4k using OpenVix. If you have a problem doing so, please start a thread with debug logs.
