Does Crossepg run a scheduled download once a day when the box is in standby for do you have to leave the box switched on overnight?

Just set a powertimer to wake the box up from deep standby a few minutes before your scheduled task.

Do me a favour and get rid of the power timer, not needed at all. This is how I want you to setup your EPG. Follow these steps.
1/ Menu > Setup > System > EPG > CrossEPG
a/ Configure > Schedule download = once a day and set a time you want to schedule a time to download. (As a tip do 15mins after ABM scheduled time, so if you have ABM to run at 4am, do CrossEPG to run at 4:15am) Now green button to save.
b/ OpenTV providers > select Sky UK OpenTV and green button to save.
Exit once and go into EPG Settings > set EPG location to either HDD (1st Choice) or USB Flash Drive (2nd Choice) *DO NOT STORE EPG DATA TO INTERNAL FLASH* then green button to save and exit all the way out back to your tv.
2/ Press the blue button, CrossEPG Downloader. This will now populate your 7 day guide. Thats it, all done!! Just put your receiver into Standby mode every night and your scheduled CrossEPG will run just fine. NO NEED FOR THE POWER TIMER, GET RID!!

As a test to see if it works you could always change the scheduled time to 19:20 and then save n put the box into standby n then see if it works. Or you can just leave as it is and see what happens in the morning. [emoji4]

Ah, my bad, sorry. Read original unedited post as only 1 answer.

Have you enabled debug logs? No reason one box should differ from the other in regard to this.
