No Channels detected

Hi folks , i`m having a very strange issue installing a box at a family members . I removed there old Sky box ( which works fine ) plug in the techonmate but no signal is detected ?

He`s got a bizarre setup with 3 other boxes in the house ( all old thomson single tuner sky boxes , dont ask , no idea why ) going to a single quad LNB . When i plug the old sky box in it works fine , but the technomate works fine at mine ??:confused::confused::confused:

similar to issue at mine. im puzzled too as 3 of my other boxes work but TM showing no signal on most channels
