Mediaportal plugin

I decided i would flash the new Vix 4.0 image to my xtrend 9200 but after completing the flash and setting up all my plugins etc i have noticed that the mediaportal plugin cannot be found. Is there a reason why i cannot add this plugin to use on the Vix image or is there a solution? I would appreciate any help before i reflash my old image. Thanks.

Rob attached a version here in the board. Because of the licence it is not on the feed anymore.

Thank you. I found the plugin and added it to my box but after a restart the plugin dies not show up anywhere in my box's menu.
I've tried this a few times with the same result.

did you install with telnet? There you need to add --force-depends so that it is installed because the still depend on old gstreamer 0.1.

I don't know what version of mediaportal you have but I installed 7.4.3 from the vix 'install local intension' menu after ftp'ing the file to temp folder. It did not need the force depends method.

I am running vix 4.0.003.

Rob posted a special version here. It think the official version still needs --force-depends.

copy the version you have to the box into /tmp. Connect through telnet and then:

cd /tmp
opkg install *.ipk --force-depends
