Hello Team,

I hope i am posing in the right forum,

I have tried the new Open Vix 4.0 build 003 and restored my Vu+ Duo 2 and now i cannot install the CCcam softcam (i am using enigma2-plugin-cams-cccam.2.3.0_1.0_mipsel from your website).

When installing the Image and Ftp'd the CCcam.cfg file to etc folder and trying to load the CCcam softcam it is always gives this error "No config file found, please setup CCcam first in /etc/CCcam.cfg" which i did.

Please assist.

Why don't you just install it from the plugins from the box?. Menu/Plugins greem download plugins

Had that message once when I was messing around with configs and multiple versions of Oscam and used my normal sledge hammer approach ... deleted the files in usr/softcams, rebooted and downloaded fresh from the feeds ... :)

Looks like you might need a fresh install without a settings restore.

You could just ftp everything over to where its supposed to be.

The cccam bin file goes in usr/softcams, everything else goes in var/etc.

Make sure you chmod the cccam, bin file to 755.

As soon as you have done that they will appear in the emu menu on the blue button.

chmod means change the file permission by the way :D

What do you mean by "Make sure you chmod the cccam, bin file to 755."?

In any linux operating system you have to give a file permission to run. Usually in most ftp programs if you highlight the file and then right click it will either say chmod or permissions. I usually set any file i want to run like cccam or oscam a permission of 755 and any associated config files a permission of 644.

I had something similar. I FTPd to my softcams folder, deleted all old cams and reinstslled them through plugins.
