Yeah.. I know what you mean Stanman.. New addons and changes will be added all the time..

Added another build today that i built last night.. Its called Orroo Black & White..

Its build on Jarvis.. So wont work on kodi 15.2 .. It will have to be a Jarvis apk thats installed.. Either Kodi 16.0 or SPMC 16.1

Have a go and try it if you wish.. And let me know what you guys think..

Hi, just a quick question about a new build, when putting it on a kodi box you can unplug to make sure it installs, how do you do it on a tablet for instance? just put your build on mr mister, looks very good.

yeah.. Alot of people have mentioned the fact that you only install the addons you want.. Leaving your build nice and light..
Ill be doing an update of the KobraH24 build over the weekend.. Im gonna stop building it on 15.2 as most other build have already moved on to 16.0 Jarvis..
Unfortunitly.. This will mean a complete clean reinstall.. But no more fresh installs will be needed for months after that.. as all updates from then on.. will be done via the wizard.. But ill keep ye posted on this when i have the new 16.0 build finished..

Yes buddy.. I have it on my kids x 2 galaxy tab 2`s..
I also have it on my tab3 and also my tab 4..
All i do is.. Once the build has installed.. and your asked to unplug the device.. I just hold in the power button and reboot..
The build will install fine for you if you do that..

I added a playlist loader in the sports section of Orroo as well.. Which is brilliant for the m3u files.. Very simple and fast to add the files.. and off you go..

Ill put up a few screenys of the Kobra build over the next few days.. Just for you guys to have a look at..

OK.. As far as Orroo build goes.. We have a pretty big update for it this afternoon..
I have taken the movies addons out from the Exodus sub menu and added 2 new catagories.. Movies and TV Shows
Screeys below..

To update to the new Orroo 1.1 :

Highlight System and press down > Go to Addons > My Addons > Program Addons > Orroo Wizard > Open

Now seleted your 1.1 build.. Either Adult content.. or No Adult Content..
Takes less than a minute for the build to update.. Then make sure to force stop or plug the plug from the power socket for new build to take effect..

Job done.. You can now enjoy the latest Orroo build..

For the next 1.2 update.. It will be alot easier..

Highlight System and press down > Orroo Wizard > Select your 1.2 update..
Just make sure to force close kodi.. or pull the plug from the power socket for build to take effect..

How are you getting this onto a Firestick ? I have tried using ADB Fire but it will not connect to the stick, don't know why as it will connect to my FireTV (Can't put it on there as the missus is only just getting used to the build that's on it) I Any other ways ?

I've put the extracted folder into
/usr/lib/enigma2/Python/plugins/extensions
But doesn't show in plugins on the solo2 even after reboot.it also removes the folder from where I put it lol

When you open a clean virgin kodi for the 1st time..
Highlight system and press down
File Manager
Press OK twice and keyboard opens up
Type this url :
http://orroo.com/orroo
Then click Done and then click on OK
Press back button until back on kodi home screen
Highlight System > Addons > Install from zip file
Hightlight orroo from the menu and click ok
A box will open up in bottom right corner stataing " Orroo Wizard - Addon Enabled "

Don't need to put the files anywhere mate. Release image with Kodi preinstalled, follow the instructions to install ares wizard via system and file manager.

Stanman means the new Kodi v16.1 RC2 Jarvis build which will be available for Vu+ Duo2, Vu+ SoloSE, Vu+ Solo2 & Vu+ Solo4K when 4.1-001 is release. [emoji4]

Ok up and running had trouble loading a fresh kodi because amazon have blocked firestarter . @ Mr.Mister many thanks m8 really enjoying it :thumbsup:

Yeah.. The last Amazon update.. 5.0.5.1 blocked firestarter..
I never used it anyway.. But you should now see the kodi icon on your amazon home screen.. for easy access..

Did you install a cache clearner.. ?
Its paramount that you install that.. or something like that.. to keep your stick running smooth..
Most people thing just install kodi.. and off you go.. Thats not the case.. Cache has to be cleaned often..
I set it to clear cache every hour.. That just keep the stick running sweet..

Google "Cache Cleaner .apk" .. and install that.. Its just for the general wellbeing of your firestick..
If you cant find it.. Let me know and ill post it here for you..

This is the Vu+ Kodi that has been released today so unfortunately won't work on the Mut@nt. There is a Mut@nt Kodi floating about somewhere but highly unlikely to work on ViX 4.0/4.1. [emoji20]

I have loaded it onto my VUsolo also and there are a couple of issues on it. MP3 Streams takes an age to load an album and then when it has there is no sound. Other music addons appear okay.
Also when 'clicking around' I keep getting the message Skin shortcuts error check log for details I have not changed anything on the shortcut menu.

Kodi plugin don't work for me I installed it but when I click the launcher it just sits on a black screen with the only way to get off is by holding the power button

Mine sits on a blank screen for a few seconds then fires up. Try removing and re-installing it.

I have loaded it onto my VUsolo also and there are a couple of issues on it. MP3 Streams takes an age to load an album and then when it has there is no sound. Other music addons appear okay.

I know this is a pain in the ass.. But go to Orroo update.. just under system.. and install the update..

I updated it this morning having put it on last night. (some things changed including the font thankfully as my old eyes struggled to read some of the text) just done an update again but problem remains.

Yes, I would agree. It works flawlessly on my firestick.
When I have a minute I will install a different build on my VU and see what happens. I assume I will have to delete the Kodi plugin from my VU and then re-install it. (Fresh build as I would when installing a new build on a Firestick)

No idea buddy.. I dont have a Vu.. But im sure there is no option to clear cache and clear data on your extention.. So you will have to uninstall.. and install again..

Just thinking outloud here.. Can you ftp into the Kodi extention on you Vu.. ??

Thanks Andy - so it's the same in any build then.
What about the slow loading and no sound from MP3 Streams ? As it works on my Firestick I assume that's down to Vu.

When you say slow loading, where about? Startup or in the actual Kodi itself? I've been doing my testing mainly on my Vu+ Solo4K receiver if I'm honest.

When you tab along to MUSIC and then down to MP3 Stream. Search for an Artist say Adele as I did. Then an album (21) hit play. On the Firestick this will play within a couple of seconds. On the Vu it's several minutes (you can see a progress bar at the top crawling along) when it does load - no sound.

Yeah it works on the Vu+ Solo4K. You just need to add the repo in System > File Manager. Then System > Add-ons and install from zip. Then Programs and install Orroo. [emoji4]

Thanks for that. Yes your right about the loading. I thought the progress bar was it loading but it was actually playing with no sound.

Guys.. been working on a new build for a few days now.. and i went with my favourite tv series of all time..

Sons of Anarchy..

This is complete with changing backgrounds.. 3 different backgrounds for every section..

The text font also come from the Sons of Anarchy.. So all in all.. i think it looks awesome.. my favourite so far..

The font is a really light yellow colour.. I tried to make it the colour of an old wanted poster you would get in a western.. with that font..

So please try it.. and i welcome all feedback.. both good and bad..

having upgraded to vix 4 and installed VU kodi .I followed this thread and have got as far as the orroo wizard and when I attempt to download one of the three packages the television screen goes blank and I have to restart the box.
I tried the sons of anarchy build and the download got to 20% and screen went blank.
I rebooted the VU solo2 and tried to download the black and white package and got 100% then an orroo wizard error message displayed bottom right of screen.
I tried the first option and the download progress bar progressed to 8% and tv screen went blank.

what can I try,I have tried going back to a previous image before the plugin was downloaded and then reinstalled the plugin but part of the original installation remains ,the part where you program the http info in

I have found that by pressing the stb button on the remote the tv screen comes back,like its timing out in some way.The download was continuing I just couldnt see it

having upgraded to vix 4 and installed VU kodi .I followed this thread and have got as far as the orroo wizard and when I attempt to download one of the three packages the television screen goes blank and I have to restart the box.
I tried the sons of anarchy build and the download got to 20% and screen went blank.
I rebooted the VU solo2 and tried to download the black and white package and got 100% then an orroo wizard error message displayed bottom right of screen.
I tried the first option and the download progress bar progressed to 8% and tv screen went blank.

what can I try,I have tried going back to a previous image before the plugin was downloaded and then reinstalled the plugin but part of the original installation remains ,the part where you program the http info in

I have found that by pressing the stb button on the remote the tv screen comes back,like its timing out in some way.The download was continuing I just couldnt see it

I couldn't get it to fire up after the update no matter what I tried. Did a fresh install and all good again.

OK.. So again.. a Vu issue.. Vu+ boxes dont allow kodi updates..

Must be installed from a virgin kodi 16.0 each time..

I dont own a Vu buddy.. So i can give you an honest answer.. But i myself have not tried it for the reasons stated..

Ive tested on Amazon Fire Sticks.. Fire Boxes.. MX boxes.. Galaxy Tab 4 .. and no issues on any..

But try it with the ares wizard.. and see how it goes..

Dont forget.. Kodi is still new on linux receivers.. So teething problems are to be expected..

Ill do a frsh tutorial for Ares Wizard now..

Tutorial on using Ares Wizard :

When you open a clean virgin kodi for the 1st time..
Highlight system and press down
File Manager
Press OK twice and keyboard opens up
Type this url :


http://areswizard.srve.io/aw_zip

Then click Done and then click on OK
Press back button until back on kodi home screen
Highlight System > Addons > Install from zip file
Hightlight Ares Wizard from the menu and click ok
A box will open up in bottom right corner stataing " Ares Wizard - Addon Enabled "
Press back button again until back on kodi home screen
Select Programs > Program Addons > Ares Wizard > Wait for 10-15 seconds > Dont touch.. I said 10-15 seconds > Webpage opens up > Select " Browse Builds "
Scroll down through the list of different builds until you come to Orroo ( Number 96 i think this afternoon )
Select Orroo > Wait 10 secs > Page will change and you will see the 3 Orroo builds available
Highlight the one your want and press the right arrow button to highlight install.. and Click OK
Your downlaod should now have started.
Wait until asked if you want to back up your skin > I select " No "
Then you will be asked to force close Kodi > Select " Yes "
Allow force close and then run Kodi.. You shoulld now have the build enabled.

If I highlight this file and press ok the screen returns to the choices screen my addons/install from zip/install from repository/search/system

I am able to play channels but sometimes when I select a channel I get working shown and a buffering type circle.I assume thats because my internet is slow,does anyone know the required speed for this to work ok

anything over 6mbps sound be fine..

there are different things you can do..

watch a lower quality stream.. or get yourself a real-debrid account for exodus..

It is probably my internet then as most times I am lucky to see 2.4 Mbs .
But at least the kodi plugin seems to work,maybe one day we will get a better internet where I live (but Im not holding my breath)
as for lower quality I am given a choice of 2 streams but no info as too quality.
thats why I like filmon as although poor quality in SD at least it mostly plays ok

I only use it for watching itv or bbc if there is something on that I cant get via satellite as I have no signal for itv,bbc here in greece

I never used it anyway.. But you should now see the kodi icon on your amazon home screen.. for easy access..

Did you install a cache clearner.. ?
Its paramount that you install that.. or something like that.. to keep your stick running smooth..
Most people thing just install kodi.. and off you go.. Thats not the case.. Cache has to be cleaned often..
I set it to clear cache every hour.. That just keep the stick running sweet..

Go to TV & OnDemand.. Press Down and look for Fox News..

If its there.. Then the update worked perfectly..

Also.. As im sure you noticed.. The update only took a few seconds.. and was only a few mb in size.. compared to the 125mb of a fresh install..

Ok worked it out once you have Ares in root exit to main screen select System then add-ons then select install from zip file then select Ares then press ok once script.areswizard is highlighted
Then follow from above
Watch the bottom right corner for a little box to pop up.. Saying : Ares Wizard - Addon Enabled..
The press the back button until back out in the kodi home screen..
Select Programes
Programe addons..
Ares Wizard..
Wait for text page to disapear from your screen..
Click on browse builds..
Scroll down to No59 in the list..
Select Orroo Fire Builds..
Select Orroo V 2.2
Allow to install.. and make sure to read all options after that..

Job Done.. Your now ready to go..

Thanks for a great Kodi Build. I have a small problem though. When I try to use ITV player the stream seems to run at about 1.5x speed and there is no sound. Any idea why this would happen? I am running it on Solo2.

I think this got missed in the middle of an earlier discussion. Any help would be appreciated.

Ive just tried the issue your having.. But can not replicate this.. I have tried a few different streams.. and all fine here..

The only thing i can suggest is a fresh install.. and see how that goes..

Obviously.. i dont look after the addons.. i can only update them if and when they becaome available..

Well i have run the Orroo build for two weeks now and not had any issues in fact me and the Frau watched 7 episodes of Sons of Anarchy yesterday and no issues.Two seasons completed 5 to go :D . One of the best TV series i have ever watched.

not sure where to post this ,so if in the wrong place please move it.
I am trying to watch a channel and get 3 options for it stream 1,2 and 3 .
Stream 1 links to the wrong channel ,stream 2 doeant do anything and stream 3 opens with no sound.
I have seen somewhere a comment of if you have no sound you need to change an audio setting but cant find it.
can anyone advise me what and where
It is only on some channels I get no audio

General question....

I have installed ivue tv guide, will this link up with streams already on your build somehow?

If i click on a channel it then asks me to add stream.

Thats correct yes.. But you will have to install the build 1st.. and then install ivue..

Hi guys..
I got something for any of you who use my Orroo kodi build..
I have a new kodi apk called Kodi-O
Its not quiet your standard apk.. it has my orroo wizard already built in.. So no need to keep typing in the URL into the file manager..
Makes everything so easy.. So if you want to update to the next build.. its all done in around 3 minutes..

All you have to do.. is Clear cache.. Clear Data.. and open up Kodi-O
Give it the normal 30 secs after your open the app..
Programs > Program Addons > Orroo Wizard > Select the build > and reboot device when its finished..

For anyone who wants this new Kodi-O apk.. please send me a PM with your email address and i will send it to you ..

can anyone advise me.
I have updated and installed the latest build from ARES today but when ever I try to open any stream it works for instance,sports,uk turk,sports,btsport2,link1.
at this point I get a black screen with what looks like a little flag and -0.00 /]0.0 at the bottom of the screen

Any ideas? if I wait after a few seconds the screen returns to the menu where I selected btsport2 this happens no matter what I choose from the top menu sports.
I know my internet is slow but I would have thought it would open but keep stopping,I am using a Vu+duo2 .I have been fighting this for quite a while now but other people report good things so I wonder if I am doing something wrong.

I use AGK fire.. Just install that on your android phone or tablet.. from play store..

Then push the apk i sent you to your fire stick..

The apk i sent you must also be installed on your android device..
