After update to 4.0 vu+ duo 2 remote doesn't work

Hi i just updated to 4.003 and i need to pick video settings but the remote doesn't respond so i cant get out of this screen can anyone help please.

You probably have the remote set to another code; '2' is the default.
Anyway: you can still always use the WEB-IF or any app to control the STB.

now fixed the problem by going into web browser on my pc and selecting the video settings on there then restored settings and the remote worked again maybe a possible bug

No, as I said: probably your remote has been set to anything but the default value (2).

I have just had the same problem today . Box would not respond to remote control , but light on box was flashing while pressing a button. Had to switch box off at rear and reboot that way. Then it was ok
