View Full Version : [VU+ Duo2] Friendly VU Team
i've reported the audio and timeshift start driver bugs to vu and received 2 friendly messages:

so, we can expect a fix soon. :D
Great, an email from an autoresponder.
..... But a very nice one :)
... and if they were really nice they could give you a fault report number from their tracking system ... but I am being too optimistic :)
Now Edision might have that, they have been around in the wider business a lot longer :)
but edison only has small cheap boxes to offer...

Yes, but better then no response at all, as was the case for years.

In this E2 market correct, but hopefully having tested the water with the smaller box, they might do something else,
Also cheap price doesn,t necessarily mean cheap box :)
When I first moved here, a German relative was doing "packages" with Edision receivers and they seemed pretty reliable - was my 1st starter into the world of satellite receivers other than Sky.
I got a similar response when reporting the driver bug affecting AMC and ESPN HD channels on the Duo2 and Solo2 - but nothing has come of it.

i know... i just said that because i'm more a duo2 and up guy :-)

i just read that vu announced that they are just going to fix bugs that also show up in their original image.
so, i wasted my time :smash:
Hi 1stein,
why? Make a backup, flash original image, test your problem and then:
-> it is in original image report to VU
-> it is in 3rd party image report to 3rd party
ciao
