Version 4.0, Build 003

Morning, Installed first build and had issues with box not shutting down, then an update was available and all sorted :D

Now i am on 003, my Duo is randomly rebooting itself, once yesterday and twice within 5 minutes just this morning.

I as always, do a full install, never restoring any images etc, everything inc picons etc etc are always freshly manually installed.

Not sure if your aware, so here i am haha.

Best wishes

Hi,
do you use CrossEPG on your Duo? The Duo has limited memory and there is often the tip to activate swap and perhaps use the plugin cacheflush or flushcache.

I always use swapfile and cacheflush, never an issue til v4.0.
I use the Bluehd skin, i don't record anything, I have picons and epg on external pendrive as for over 4 years.
For some time i have stopped using coolepg as it is confusing and never seems to work unlike a few year back, therefore i have stuck with the XMLTV importer.
Box is used just to watch channels only.
I even open the box up every 6 month to clean the insides and ports of any dust also.
Can you remind me on how to obtain logs please as very very rarely ever had to do it.
Best wishes

Menu/Setup/System/Logs/Settings change location from flash to somewhere useful and enable debug logs
Logs Manager red button flips you between crash logs and debug logs, select & view buttons to display contents :)

could be epg data... maybe erase the epg.dat file.
