ViX4.0-003 is the latest build so no software updates will be available. You could try image manager and reinstall again?
Blue button > ViX > Backup manager > do a fresh backup by pressing the blu button. Then exit one and go into Image manager > press the yellow button to download and highlight the latest build ViX 4.0-003 and green button to download. After a few when download has been successful, red button to close the window and highlight what you have just downloaded and press the blue button to restore. This will flash ViX 4.0-003 with the ofgwrite tool and then you will setup the receiver as if its new then you will have the option to restore your settings n plugins etc. Try that and report back please.

Please telnet
opkg update
and post the output here.
Strange as I am also getting No Network message when it is clearly connected. Unable to access the Openvix download page, gertting Database error and the only way I have managed to post is through latest updates as the forum is not loading.

As the connection seems to be fine, I'm lost about your issue.
found the issue, its with BT online parental controls blocking the address it is looking for. When i turn it off NO ISSUES.
what is the address the feeds are looking at ??? so i can add it as an allowed address.
If you look in /etc/opkg you will find all the feeds and the exact addresses they are using for each package
I just got a solo2 and it deosnt say anything just a blank space when trying to download feeds, when hook Duo up it says not available,
cant even set up samba.
Where did the solo2 come from .... What image and version is it and the duo running?
Hi, it come from a local place like Ebay in New Zealand. its running an old Apollo image but I dont have a HDD fitted yet and seems slower than my duo when 1st booting up.
Duo is latest Openvix 4 0 003 Release
it actually says . there has been an error and to look on the websites for info,
but i dont want to update yet as it has some cam info I want to cpoy and put back in

That explains a lot.
Ok thanks, I have used the Vu
= control centre to do a settings backup and will reflash the newest image,
all good now , just that i couldnt get the image to save if it went wrong, as I had no internal HDD and couldn't get a usb one to be reconised,
