A little confused but is it possible to run Kodi on a VU+ duo. I am using an openvix image at the moment and would appreciate any guidance to
what I need to do. I have read about installing on an Android system but not sure on a Linux box. Sorry if this has been mentioned previously although I have tried searching. Thanks.

Not currently available on latest OpenViX 4.0, but I believe it is available on other images. Have a look at this thread:

I think Kodi/XBMC will never on the older boxes because they have features missing needed for XBMC.

You can have kodi on Vu boxes, if you are using standard vix image then download xbmc plugin from feeds, which will install 13.2 version. If you want kodi 15.2 with vix then google it & you will find a backup image which works perfectly.
