Still no pip fix?

As title says it's been over a year to my knowledge that picture in picture has had problems/bugs. When on earth are these going to get fixed? If at all. Ok
Stopping pip mutes all audio,
Also all options to move swap pip are removed.
Are these image problems or vu problems them self?

Enable it , then change channel in epg then them options will go away.
So you can't change pip around.

Moving, resizing, different PIP modes are all still available on Solo2.
The annoying sound driver bug is still present though.

Ok this is what I do blue button, then blue again to activate pip,
Press epg button then tv on remote go to sports (example),
Select a channel then the options are gone.
It works if you press the right channel number (example 1)
Or select a channel in the same group (example news section)

Is there any news of a fix for sound bug?

Blue button -> blue button to enable PIP
Blue button -> green button to move PIP
Blue button -> 0 to change PIP modes.
Long press up/down to change channels with PIP active.

As for the sound bug, don't hold your breath. VU have known about it for a long time...

A few ways...
Long press up/down to enable PIP & bring up channel list, then blue button to change bouquets.

For the audio-issue you should report to VU+; the more clients do so, the more chance they will fix it.
The rest are non-issues.

i find it very disappointing that respectable image teams like vix or others do not have a direct support contact at vu. i'd assume that it would be in the interest of vu to get direct feedback and failure info to be able to fix problems fast.

Well, to cheer you up: we do. On a regular basis. And every single issue is reported to them.
But: it's up to them to fix the issues. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Hence my appeal to report to them as client.

As background info: VU has a habit of 'fixing' driver-bugs in Enigma (in fact a work-around). As they only have to take care of their own hardware, it's quite an easy job for them. But as soon as you build images for other hardware as well, as most teams do, this is not a feasible route. And teams like VTi & BH also have an easy job: supporting only VU they simply use the VU image and only add some plugins.

I recently had to actually threaten to drop support for them to invoke a reaction into fixing unicable drivers for solo4k.

Smaller companies like Edision react straightaway. I've reported two driver bugs to them so far, both fixed within 24 hours of reporting.

I just checked on DUO2 (on ViX 4.1.013) because of your question: I couldn't find the slightest issue.
