after the update from 3.037 to openvix 4.03
I cannot find the softcam manager, mgcamd 1.38 not working
I cannot revert back to vix 3.037 using a usb image from the front usb port it does not read the usb but just starts the solo2
I cannot find VIX menu under the blue button to select backups or image manager

You will need to install Mgcamd 1.38 from the feeds.

I have installed mgcamd from the feeds, I did a fresh install from the image manager but that does not explain why the Vix menu does not show or why softcam manager is not in any menu

I cannot use the front usb port to revert to openvix 3.037

when I press blue with other openvix images VIX showed in the menu but now it does not, and I cannot enable the softcam


I still cannot get the solo2 to read usb image so I can get back to 3.037

Yes Ihave this in usr/softcam mgcamd1.38 the attr is 755
in settings Softcam / CI it only shows settings / show CCcam info in extensions? yes Show Oscam info in extensions yes/ common interface/common interface assignment

That's already been highlighted in another post ... DCC 1.41 apparently works.
It would be worth using Filezilla or DCC 1.41 (I guess) to look at what is in System Plugins ... it looks as if for some reason the ViX System Plugin has not been inserted into the menu or extensions.
As it has not been reported by anybody else, its a problem with your flash, so I would say you need to reflash with Vix 4.3 ... which means finding a usb that will flash.... you should try with only 1 usb installed and try back port (if there is one on the Solo2)

I have tried both of those and have trouble connecting Ihave also tried all the usb sticks that I have been able to use to updat other images from I have redownloaded the 4.03 image but the solo2 will not read any usb stick in any port the media usb stick is readable the usb tuner works but no image will update not even any of the 3.xx series I have not idle waiting for a reply I have tried everything I can think of

finally after all this time and effort I finally downloaded the image again on my older laptop and got a working image . So much for dell xps laptops it was corrupting my download thanks for everyones suggestions

I have successfully reverted to 037 and everything works now
