AVI playback poor

not sure if it is this image or in fact the box. (Vix 1.3)

When trying to play AVI files the video seems pretty poor. It stutters alot when in action shots (where the movement is slightly quick, but not very fast)

I get this when playing across network / usb and when copied to the internal HD

Am i expecting too much from this box ? My dreambox 7025 never had this problem.

This is the only downfall with this box so far.

have to say the playback from my recordings onto hdd is superb but am not using the same image as you right now

I use the media player in vix 1.3 and although it could do with a few more features (rewind!!) it works reasonably well for me. Yesterday actually had a problem with a video not playing back but i just assumed it was some missing codec. Only one so far though.
