Spooky recording?

My box has "REC" flashing in Front Display Panel and if I press OK button, a Red flashing "R" in popup window BUT I have no timers set and nothing showing in "movies" as being recorded!

I recently switched to the Blue-HD skin (which I think is amazing), surely not the cause? - any ideas please as to how/what/where can I check what on Earth's going on?

i've noticed this on my parents VU box - couldn't figure it out.

need to make sure your box's ip address is not being shared over the internet, if you think your getting a phantom recording, simply remove the internet connection from your box, and if it stops, someone outside your home network is streaming from your receiver.

in my case - the box is not accessible from outside.
