Currently running a zero box and love it, was cautious about going for a more expensive box as i hadn't seen one in action so thought a single tuner would be a good way to 'dip my toe in the water.'
If I was doing this again tomorrow i'd invest heavier for twin/hybrid tuner options and also transcoding, but for now i'm looking to 'upgrade' what I have.

I've not found out that my VM feed is live and wouldn't mind a few extra HD channels.

Has anyone had any joy with a zero box and the VU+ Turbo USB tuner?

and/or

Can anyone recommend another usb DVB-C tuner?

Plan B - Anyone want to buy a Zero box thats about a month old?

Thoughts appreciated..

Thanks
M

The Vu tuner will work fine. The Sundtek tuner is more versatile.

The Edision with two tuners comes in at less than £100

Thanks - that gives me more options, also looks smaller which is good!

I'm a fan of th VU+, build quality feels good and like the remote, but again that probably just because its what i've quickly become used to..
Wasn't hard to beat the openbox one though!

Be aware the Turbo tuner is just for Vu receivers. Sundtek can be used in all receivers and in PC's.

And like Abu said it is now possible to buy a modern twin tuner receiver for only a little bit more than the cost of a decent USB tuner.
