EPG and picture problems

Hi all,

excuse me for being a bit thick. I hope someone can help. Over the last couple of weeks I've had issues with the picture freezing for a few minutes while watching a programme. That's a wee bit annoying but hey ho I thought. However, there also seems to be an issue when my broadband cuts off, which is more annoying (BT are getting it thick from me) because I didn't think the receiver had anything to do with my broadband so if anyone can help with that I'd be grateful.
The third issue is the epg, it keeps disappearing and I have to keep loading it with the plugin. Again, probably me being thick so I could do with a bit of help please. I have a vu+duo twin tuner.

If you are uisng Mgcamd, there is a possibility of DDOSing yourself if you have the logging option on and sending to a non-existent IP address.

Thanks Abu, I have no idea what you mean. New to this satellite thing. used to just plug in and play with a sky box!
