Remote Control Problems

Hello,
checking previous posts I seem to be in the majority with a remote not fit for purpose that comes with the DUO 2, so I found a genuine VU remote on Ebay from the Solo 2 (maybe, not sure).

Anyway it works much better, more responsive, arrow directions actually work which was the major cause of frustration as it had a mind of its own. Happy days.

If indeed you have searched posts and found a lot of people of problems with the supplied duo2 remote, you must have read that I have bought 2 replacement duo2 remote controls over the past 2 years from wos and they both work fine and are assembled better than those supplied in the box.

No, sorry never seen that, I will have to look at WOS in future. Do they have a shop?

Does the Solo remote work out of the box with the duo2?

My own remote has become a pain and I need to replace. Volume down, channel down and number 7 all almost unusable.

yes, the solo2 one works fine.
