EPG not populating fully

The EPG is not populating fully. Some channels show EPG data for more than 24 hours while others are empty. It is a standard VIX 1.3 install. What's going on?

Huevos are you using Ryvix or CrossEPG or another to download the EPG.
Also What source are you using (Satmate UK, OpenTV, Rytec or other).

Have you knowingly configured any epg sources? If not then you will not get the epg data automatically. This needs to be configured.

In VIX 1.3 do the below...

Menu > Setup > VIX ( in here you can chose whether to use ryvix or crossepg to download your epg data)

What is preferable, CrossEPG or RyVIX? And how should I configure it. By the way I can't receive over the air from 11778v.

I personally use crossepg.

In crossepg you are able to use ryvix sources anyway. So you could do the same.

With crossepg you are also able to get openTV sources...these are downloaded directly from the satellite. ryvix and xepgdb are xml files that are created...

yes there is but not in the latest satellite.xml i copy the hiphop from an old bouquets to the new bouquets and then the jobs done.
