LCD4Linux was updated

i thought the screen was manageable by the software?

you can manage the layout of the screen in lcd4linux.

yes, i know... had a look a while ago and gave up because it was not obvious which fields to change.

It's not that hard, just give it a try. I turned everything off and then built up my own screen layer out hoe I liked it. Wouldn't have taken more than 10 minutes all up.

i suspect like in the problem description "crash when restoring a backup" this problem could be caused by an outdated lcd file as well.
about a year ago the lcd looked the same. then it was fixed. and now the very same problem seems to be back.
build 037 is kind of strange.

had the same problem after updating.Needed full reconfiguring.Completely messed up on media. If somebody would like it I will send my new configures in LCD4linux parts and topic. Is also easy to configure with webif : http://ipadressbox/lcd4linux/config and chose media and adapt. Then save also in configure mode as in right upper corner.

unfortunately this problem still exists in 4.0...

thanks.

Best way, set it to your own preferences.

yes, but it was not a matter of preferences. the config in the image is completely broken because the elements of video playback are overlaying each other.
it should be fixed in the image as well.
