Has anyone managed to get the volume lock to work? Volume button contorls TV volume not STB volume...?

I can control my Panasonic TV from the Edison remote control if I press the TV button, but everytime I want to turn TV volume up/down I always have to click the TV button first. The instructions say you have to key 999 in to lock the volume but I can not get it to work, I have tried 3 different Edison remote controls and have not been able to get volume lock to work.

The 999 code doesn't ever lock the TVs control. The best way to go around this is to go into hdmi cec and enable forward volume key.

CEC doesn't work seem to work with older HDMI TV's

Hi,
HDMI does not automatically mean also CEC is available. The TV must have an option like AnyNet+ or Vieralink. 1st and perhaps 2nd generation HDMI TVs does not have options like that.
