deleting trash can in one go

i was wondering if there is a way of deleting items in the trashcan (/media/hdd/movies/.trash ) in one go, without clicking the item one by one, pressing delete and then confirming by pressing yes.

just highlight 'deleted items' then press delete(red button on your remote) then it asks if you want to confirm deleting all in trashcan

You can set it to empty itself after x days.
