Hi,

I have a VU+Duo2, Astra 28.2e , Open Blackhole v0.1

I want to setup oscam but a friend has given me oscam files for OpenVix.

I understand the location for the oscam files, on the DUO2, is /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam

Will those files work ?? or do they have to be edited for Open Blackhole ??

If they are specific only to the OpenVix image - which OpenVix image is stable ?? ( i.e. doesn't crash while changing channels, accessing a samba folder, using XBMC or media player ) ????

Oscam is Oscam ..... No different apart from architctural differences between receivers.
Why would a Vix image crash whilst changing channels etc.... Seems you have been using wrong image:)
Vix .... Use latest image ..... links above
