Hi Everyone, need some helpand advice with this project of mine please if all possible

I am looking to install a dish to get Eutelsat 7B at 7.0°E http://www.lyngsat.com/Eutelsat-7B.html

My location is Milton Keynes UK. Dishpointer shows all green but haven't found anything solid on the net for me to invest in it yet

If at all a good signal is possible will this dish size be ok http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/Satallite-Dishes/Technomate-Satellite-Dishes/technomate-97cm-motorised-solid-dish-pack (will ditch the motor)

Been searching online for weeks now but don't understand much about footprints = dish sizes

Just after some FTA local channels form East Africa

Any help and advice I will be very grateful

Many Thanks

You should be able to get that on normal East pointing dish ,have you tried a blind scan yet????

just asking if its possible but with your positive reply it seems possible, is it?You have absolutely no hope of receiving anything on the Africa beam. And anyway that position uses dual illumination so even if you had a dish big enough to catch that beam it would be impossible anyway as the European beam uses the same frequencies.

Oooh i see. Now i understand, i thought the beams send the same signals but its not the case. Will scratch my project. Many Many thanks.
