Hi All,

A few months back I emigrated from the UK to Charlotte, North Carolina.

I'll start by saying that, Yes I know that this is a UK and European forum but I just want to ask a couple of quick questions.

I have a Vu+ Solo2, the box owes me nothing, Its been great for the past few years and has easily saved me what it is worth. I have Directv in my house in the US and although US Television is generally shite, The sports coverage is fantastic. The Vu+ is sitting under the TV, there is no satellite feed going into it and it is just being used to stream from the NAS. Is it worth me doing a bit of reading to see if it can pick up any FTA or FTV signal off the Directv satellite? I think I might be flogging a dead horse as I have been reading that directv runs of the ku/ka band. Can anyone give me a little bit of advice or maybe recommend a US forum to me?

Thanks a lot,

Stanman
