View Full Version : [ABM-DVB-S/S2] Autobouquetmaker no nims found

Hi guys,

Can anyone help me out with this issue please ? Every morning when I switch solo2 on it says on screen no nims found. I re flashed to build 036 yesterday morning in hope this would solve things but it hasn't. I have checked my ABM settings but can't see anything obvious. ABM downloads at 05:30 each morning and receiver is always in standby mode.

how have you set the tuners (did you use automatic by any chance)? have you got any debug logs?

Does it work fine if ran manually?

Has your dish moved slightly in the wind. you may still be able to get loads of channels, just not the transponder that ABM uses.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies. I can't see anything that shows automatic and I have had this problem for about a fortnight, strong winds have only been this week, so I don't think the dish has moved. When I look at the log with ABM settings, it's says timed out SDT and cannot fetch SDT. I don't know what this is? A little further down again says no NIMs found.

Post screen grabs of your tuner configs. Also turn on debug logs and post the log of the scan.

Fault points to incorrect tuner setup or a hardware fault.

I haven't changed my settings ever, the only thing I did around the time this started was try out a USB tuner but that isn't installed anymore.

That is screen grab is not very useful. Save the picture to your PC, zip it then add it as attachment please.

I don't have access to a pc at the moment, but I know the settings are fine they have always worked nothing had been changed. Simple, 28.2e no to diseq, can't remember the other option. Both tuners are the same

Have you transferred any other bouquets using other plugins/bouquets? (Just trying to rule somthing out.) Thanks.

No Abu, nothing always just used ABM with a very straightforward setup ie sky custom granada only

Disable all tuners except tuner A. Run again.

Menu > setup > service searching > tuner configuration > select tuner.

Set as "not configured"

OK tried to run ABM on both tuners, same issue both times

So, what tuner have you got set up for terrestrial? None that I can see.

Open ABM Providers screen. Press GREEN to save. Do a scan.

So you can see from my log that it shows free view winter Hill, yet in the providers sections it only shows sky UK custom selected. No selection for terrestrial.

Anyway something has changed because I didn't get the error this morning, I have run ABM manually and now downloading absolutely spot on.

It's not showing in providers because you dont have a tuner for it. You must have restored setting from a time when you did have a terrestrial tuner set up. Resaving ABM providers clears that old config.
