xbmc not loading

hi i cant get xbmc to load i have tried factory reset of box vu+solo2, i have tried different vix images and old back ups and have had no luck.
is there any way you can remove the xbmc and re install a fresh one

hi sorry for the late reply, i am using was using Gotham 13.2 , i have tried lots of different images but still not working,i found a backup image that works but as soon as i install vix image again i loose xbmc can anyone advise me what to do
