No sound and picture freezes every other second et8000

I have just tried and failed to install a quad lnb. I have put the old lnb back together but now the picture freezes every second. So the picture works one second then freezes one second. This is a consistant freezing that happens every second.

There is also no sound.

I have plugged the feed into a differant freesat tuner and it works fine.

on the xtrend check what the signal meter says, it may be that its not getting a lock, could be more sensitive than the other box?

That's where id start, post the results and someone might be able to better advise.

Ford1's comment is valid. The samsung tuners used in the Et8000 are normally fine on a strong signal, but with weak signals can be difficult to lock for any length of time ..... So I guess you should check the alignment and even in teh UK the skew of the Lnb.
Satfinder should show if the signal,is fluctuating and locking.

The signal strength is over 70, it is the same as it was before I tried installing the lnb. It is jerky though, infact the whole ui is jerky/freezing.
