hi i have a technomate twin oe with tuner issues ( bought from wos and is under 12 months old and has already had a psu replacement)
i am running a fresh install of vix 032
having same issue before installing the fresh install
ok i am getting constant tune fails and service unavailable check tuner configuration on the screen
this problem seems to be intermittent
the tv channels are missing in the morning and have to go into buquets and scan for channels and also the recorded programmes fail to record or only have partial recordings
i have checked the tuner signal strenth in settings and this is what i find
tuner A set to 28.2
snr 0 to 89% fluctuation
agc 0%
ber 0%
tuner B set to 28.2
snr 89%
agr 88%
ber 0%
if i swop the satellite cables over from the dish the readings stay the same. i believe if tuner A was ok and tuner B fluctuated then it would have been a sat/lnb cable issue
as it stays the same then it must be a tuner issue
i have a vu box that i have tried in place of the technomate and both tuners have stable signals
any advice welcome, thanks
