View Full Version : [ABM-DVB-S/S2] ABM add provider [CanalSat Reunion, 16E]
Hi, i'm new here and i'm having problems to make ABM work. I've read many posts and did not found any solution. My problem is as follows:
I'm from Mauritius and using the satellite Eutelsat 16e but in ABM there is no provider for this sat, i've read some posts here and tried to add the provider manually and succeeded but after scan i've got only 50channels and they are not in official order. Can anyone help please? Thanks
can you provide us an official provider channellist whith the correct channel numbers?

My problem is as follows: I'm from MauritiusAre you currently in Mauritius? If not, then where?
Yes

The problem for us is that, that beam is pointed towards the Indian Ocean, and is completely masked by the European beam.
So first step is you need to active debug logs. Then go into ABM menu and turn on extra debug. And then you have to be able to connect to your box and be able to retrieve the logs and post them here.
Ok i'll do that and post it. Thanks

Once you get that figured out we'll give you a provider's xml file to try.
Try this and post the log:
<provider>
<name>CanalSat Reunion</name>
<streamtype>dvbs</streamtype>
<protocol>lcnbat2</protocol>
<transponder
orbital_position="160"
frequency="11471000"
symbol_rate="30000000"
polarization="0"
fec_inner="8"
inversion="2"
system="0"
modulation="1"
roll_off="0"
pilot="2"
/>

<configuration key="hd_1" bouquet="0x1" region="0x83">CanalSat Reunion</configuration>
</dvbsconfigs>

Hello, i've tried but ABM keeps saying "timeout for tuner lock"
I've tried with both tuners set to same satellite, tried to disable one tuner etc.. but nothing works.

The values in teh xml posted bty Huevos are the same as those you mentioned in post 3. So you should not be getting a tuner lock issue.
I also note thatone of your logs shows you using teh following details
17:41:26.207 [ ] dvb/frontend.cpp:2183 prepare_sat frontend 0 prepare_sat System 1 Freq 10845000 Pol 0 SR 30000000 INV 2 FEC 0 orbpos 160 system 1 modulation 1 pilot 2, rolloff 0
Can you attach your xml file here as an attachment please? Do not paste the contents.
Can you also attach the debug logs.
nothing works. Sounds like clone trouble.
I had made some errors in the .xml file thats why was getting "timeout for tuner lock". Now i got 152 channels + 43 radios from ABM scan (was getting only 50 channels from previous scan) but the channels numbering are still not same as official.
Here's the log file:
What receiver are you using?
Zgemma star 2s

Sorry. This site does not support the Zgemma box.
Sorry didn't know this. but the post i made is mainly about ABM and i was getting only 50 channels from the ABM scan now i'm getting 152 thanks to the help i received here, its just the channels numbering is not in correct order.

The BAT on this transponder does not contain LCN data. You need to search every transponder of this provider and provide an individual log for each one. Doesn't look promising.

Sent from my HTC One using TapatalkThe reason the Zgemma is not supported is because it is cloned hardware, it is sub standard, it would be impossible to rule out any problem you have as being a hardware fault, as it is that model you have is known to have weak tuners, why should anybody waste their time trying to solve problems on substandard, stolen hardware? Buy a supported box and if you still have the same problem the VIX team will help.
