Streaming / Transcoding-App for Xtrend ET-10000Features:
- Stream and transcode your (DVB-)TV Channels, Recordings, .ts-Files (other media files don't work!)
- Stream and download media files *
- Supports channels with alternative services
- Stream your (DVB-)Radio Channels (without transcoding)
- Play your IPTV- and Internetradio-Channels
- Long-click on a channel to zap and change audio track used for transcoding
- Show EPG and add / delete timers
Requirements:
Mediaplayer-App(s) - I recommend:
- for video streams: "Wondershare Player" (esp. for IPTV-Channels, Transcoding Recordings) and "MX Player" (esp. for Transcoding HDMI Input, Streaming without Transcoding)
- for audio streams: "VLC"
App can also be selected as player when streaming from other apps for enigma2-receivers (e.g. "tiMote"). In that case, the Transcoding-Screen will show up and you can set up Transcoding-parameters (this may not work for all channels, e.g. channels with alternative services, IPTV or internetradio).
* Notice:
When streaming media files (except .ts), files will be downloaded and temporarily stored on your sd card. Make sure you have enough free space on your sd card and that your sd card is exFAT or NTFS-formatted for files larger than 4GB.

Been using this for a while now, and also "DREAMDROID" amdroid asp, both are free and both work very well, I tend to use DREAMDROID moe than the transcode for xtrend, it just feels better, I use vlc as the media player and havnt noticed the need to yemp store on sd card?

I use them both with my et8000, on my home network and when out and about over mobile network. if I could just set up ssh properly to use them safely id be a happy man!!
