Guys at mo I have a technomate nano oe box it's been fine but now I'm getting a bit more confident I'd like to try another box. One that can have a hdd internally fitted...and a better spec processor so bearing this in mind and the fact I'm a tight Yorkshire man which box would you recommend

I think that the Extrend ET8000 will be perfect for you up to 3 plug-able tuners and the choice of 2.5" or 3.5" Hard Drives and a good fast processor
