Merry Christmas to all.

At my folks house

Ever since I upgraded the box to version 30 it is slow to respond when switched on & then speeds up after a few mins.

Here is a screenshot of the memory of the box - notice that it only has 60M worth of free space, is this normal? shouldnt this be around 105+?

EPG is stored on an external USB
only extra plugin is dreamplex

any ideas?

EDIT

Here is an output of the FREE command via Telnet

root@vusolo2:~# free
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 572524 118272 11884 136 442368 417928
Swap: 0 0 0

Free space on flash will depend on things like plugins, picons installed, having only 60MB available isn't an issue.

If it's working as normal after a few minutes, any scripts running on startup?
Fresh flash should sort it (if it's not a remote battery issue, VU get sluggish on weak batteries)

The 60M you mention is actually free flash on your box (root).

The command "df -h" will display info about root space.

On my solo2, I have about 93M free.

The command "top" is useful for displaying all your processes and cpu usage. For example, my cpu usage (%cpu) very quickly goes between 0% to 30% and this is due to my softcam mgcamd138 and the actual "top" command :)
