ABM Channel Numbering

Hopefully a quick question. ABM starts channel number from 100 but is there an easy way to start this from 1? Or would I need to create a custom lcn file and edit each and every channel number?

ABM does not start channel number from 100 for all providers. The "starting number" is specified by the number of the first section in the provider's xml file. For most providers it is determined by the data on the tables on the stream. As an example comapre Freeview with Sky UK.

It depends on what you want to do. There is more than one way to skin a cat. It also depends on what other things you are doing. I prefer the favourites system.

Abu, thanks for the reply, I'm still playing around with it so sorry if the questions I'm asking seem stupid.

I prefer using the main group (HD Only), so the HD channels start at 1 and then from 100 (UK Cable) or 101 (UK Satellite) has the channels with provider numbering
