I'm after a twin tuner Vu+ box with a hard drive for a family member.

I've got a solo 2 and love it. Just need a twin tuner at a reasonable price.

£170 with hdd? WOS are doing a deal on them atm but you know what family are like, always want it doing for nothing!

No mate that's just for the receiver I know they are only £200 new it's a mates box he can't get into them but doesn't want to lose to much with it only being 3 months old

I have a vu solo 2 and love it. This guy wants the same set up as mine so really want to stick with a vu. Thanks for the heads up though.

You won't go wrong with an xtrend 9500. It's superb value at £129, looks great and is quite a bit ahead of the dated Vu duo. I've fitted 3 of them for family members, no issues, no crashes and no annoying bloody phone calls asking me why the box won't do anything :p

The xtrends sound a good option but he's quite insistent on a vu box. If anyone has a twin tuner one with hdd, give me a shout.

I know if i was getting the choice of a Vu+ Duo.. or an Xtrend ET9500..

I know which one id be taking..

And it wouldnt be the Duo..

Its a complete no brainer..
