install correct image Oscam cam on box and reboot..if using vix image ensure oscam cam is compatible with vix image.
Using ccam converter convert your info to Oscam "server file" and save to where you can find it.
Then FTP your new saved Oscam server config file to etc/tuxbox/config folder you should have 4 files in there and replace the default Oscam.server file..Then exit ftp and reboot box..make sure cam is running and all should be good..
Thanks mann will have a go later

I have only 3
Oscam. Conf
Oscam.srvid
Oscam.user
oscam.conf is the only file you need to get oscam working, all other files can be created as needed by its WebIF.
Look in the file oscam.conf and it will let you know the webif port number. Then type you box's ip address into your computers browser followed by :port number no gaps. example 192.1680.250:8888 this will take you into the oscam webif. From the tabs at the top select files and then oscam.server or oscam.user, put in what you need and save.
I have only 3
Oscam. Conf
Oscam.srvid
Oscam.user
It seems you miss file oscam.server. That is the file to define from where your card is readed. Eather from boxes local smartcard readers or from your another box. Readers from local box can be like this:
[reader]
label = mycard
protocol = internal
device = /dev/sci0
detect = cd
group = 1
emmcache = 1,3,15
deprecated = 1

label = mycard
protocol = internal
device = /dev/sci1
detect = cd
group = 2
emmcache = 1,3,15
deprecated = 1

you need to use oscam-latest..... not oscam-pcsc-latest .....oscam-pcsc is for omnikey readers if you are reading a card

Cable or satellite?
satellite with 1.2 disecq motorised dish
If it is your own card we can try to help, but you need to tell us what card you are using.
If you are not using your own card, no one can help on this forum as that would contravene strictly enforced rules.

flipping nightmare, wish id never bought the thing. followed every instruction possible but limited to what i can say as its not my own card. think ill have a few scoops tonight n try the drunken approach to it. if not then itll be :smash::smash::smash:
Without contravening any rules, why do you need to use Oscam? Wouldn't MGcamd work instead?

allegedly only oscam works on it, thats what ive found in hours of trawling the net the past 3 nighhts
I just had a quick look and found that MGcamd might be working on BH images.
I'll upload the file if I'm allowed?
Not my work but if you unpack it (winrar will do) then the mgcamd binary will work on other images, you will just need to use your own camscript (whatever that means)

Try that, hopefully it will work for you.
Only if it has been compiled for the arm architecture 4K
Would it be worth trying, if someone can explain the camscript part?
There are other forums u can join who can & will help u, but not this one.
