setting timer on epg overview is extremely slow

using vix night hd skin.
when i'm on the epg overview screen and select timer it takes about 3 seconds before the vix spinner shows up and then another second before the set timer panel appears.
is that normal?

well, i spoke too soon. it's still there in 35... but it doesn't always happen. haven't found a pattern for recreation, though.
